[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]According to authorities, at least six persons were injured in a blast in Peshawar’s Hayatabad neighbourhood on Tuesday, and the target of the attack was a convoy of the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC).
Cantt Superintendent of Police (SP) Waqas Rafi told the media near the blast site that the attack was on an FC convoy passing through Hayatabad’s phase 6.
Television footage shows a mass of people on the road where the alleged explosion occurred. In the distance, the burned remnants of a vehicle can be seen.
Six persons were hurt in the blast, according to SP Rafi, and were transferred to a local hospital.

He said that a bomb disposal unit was gathering evidence from the location to determine the nature of the event.
In his press conference, he stated, “We are looking into the matter and gathering additional details.” “A cordon has been placed around the area.”
“We will get to the bottom of this matter, and the culprits involved in the incident will be exposed,” he promised.
Separately, professor Shehzad Akbar Khan, medical director of the Hayatabad Medical Complex, verified to Reuters that the facility received two patients injured in the incident and that both were in stable condition.
He stated that the remaining injured were sent to the Combined Military Hospital.
While the nature of the bomb has yet to be determined, no one has claimed credit.
Terrorism has increased in Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, after the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan broke its truce with the government in November last year.
