Ramadan Gas Schedule Updated by Sui Southern Gas Company

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a revised gas supply schedule for Ramadan following the suspension of liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports. The company aims to ensure households have adequate gas for Sehri and Iftar preparations during the holy month.

According to SSGC sources, the new schedule will restore the timings used last year. For Iftar, gas will be available from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm, allowing families sufficient time to cook and prepare meals. For Sehri, gas supply will run from 3:00 am to 9:00 am, matching the previous year’s arrangement.

Officials said the revised schedule is being finalized and is expected to be formally announced soon. The adjustment comes amid LNG supply challenges that have affected overall gas availability in the country.

The company urged consumers to plan their cooking and household activities according to the revised timings. SSGC also emphasized that following the announced schedule will help reduce strain on the gas network during peak hours.

Energy experts said such schedule adjustments are common during Ramadan in Pakistan to manage demand effectively. They added that the temporary timing changes aim to ensure fair access to gas for all households.

Last year, the SSGC’s Ramadan schedule helped manage energy usage efficiently while avoiding long disruptions. Authorities believe restoring the same timings will provide consistency and convenience for families this year.

The company also reassured consumers that it is working closely with suppliers to minimize disruptions. It said any further changes, if necessary, would be communicated promptly through official channels.

With the holy month approaching, SSGC is coordinating with local administrations to ensure smooth implementation of the gas supply schedule. Households are advised to monitor official announcements and adjust their plans accordingly.
