Sri Lanka Wins Hong Kong Super Sixes, Defeating Pakistan

Sri Lanka claimed the Hong Kong World Super Sixes title by defeating Pakistan on Sunday.

In the final match at Mong Kok, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to field. Pakistan lost two wickets in the first over, with only Muhammad Ikhlaq standing out by scoring 48 runs. Other contributors included captain Faheem Ashraf with 13, Aamir Yamin with 6, Asif Ali with 0, and Hussain Talat with 1. Pakistan was bowled out for 72 runs within the 6-over limit.

For Sri Lanka, Dhananjaya Lakshan and Tharindu Ratnayake each took two wickets.

In response, Sri Lanka chased down the target of 73 runs with one over to spare, losing three wickets. Sandun Weerakody scored 34, Dhananjaya Lakshan added 2, and captain Lahiru Madushanka contributed 19. Faheem Ashraf took two wickets for Pakistan.
