In recent times, Pakistan, with a population of over 240 million, has experienced a significant surge in militant violence, particularly in its northwestern and southwestern regions bordering Afghanistan, following increased activities by the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Last month alone, more than 60 people lost their lives in twin suicide bombings that targeted a mosque and a religious procession. As a response to this threat, the Pakistani government has been taking measures to address the issue, including the removal of illegal immigrants who have aided militants.
