The Sindh Bar Council has announced a court boycott in response to alleged threats made against Provincial Law Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar by a prisoner.
The council stated that a strike will be observed on Saturday, with lawyers across Sindh boycotting court proceedings in protest against the threats made toward the provincial law and interior minister.

According to the lawyers’ organization, prisoner Ismail Dahri threatened to kill Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar, which has led to the legal community staging a protest.
The Sindh Bar Council confirmed that, following their appeal, lawyers will not attend City Court, Malir Court, and other courts on Saturday.
