[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Simon Doull, a New Zealand commentator, has once again criticised a Pakistani batter who is not Babar Azam.
Doull slammed Mohammad Rizwan’s innings in the PSL 8 Qualifier between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars on Wednesday in Lahore.
Doull stated during commentary that Rizwan could have been more active in the powerplay.
“He’s out in the 14th over after scoring 33 off 29. It’s simply not acceptable. In 10 overs, he did not hit a boundary. His final boundary was the third over. “You have to take more chances than that,” Doull remarked.
“This is a game where you get a second chance, so this is the game you take risks. This is the game you try and put the side under pressure, in case you have to play them again. This is where you show your wares, because if you do lose going for it, it doesn’t matter. The point is, this is a game where you can express yourself, do whatever you want to do, and that powerplay was just not good enough,” he added.

Doull had previously attacked Rizwan, claiming that the Sultans’ skipper struggled to get going in his innings against Karachi Kings earlier in the season.
“I’m sorry to say it, but he needs to get off,” Doull remarked. “He’s striking at 109, you’ve got great power to come, just leave the field, chief. You are the captain; do the right thing for your team. The twos cannot be ran swiftly. You’re not assisting your friend on the other end. “I’d just go off, get some therapy, you’ve done your job,” Doull had said.
But, the wicketkeeper-batsman upped the ante after completing his fifty in 42 balls.
Rizwan made history by completing his century in only 60 balls, using only 18 balls to reach to his hundred from fifty. It was the fastest 50-to-100 acceleration in PSL history by a Pakistani batter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
