– Severe weather has disrupted flight operations across Pakistan, with all Sialkot Airport flights now being rerouted to Lahore.
Officials confirmed that a UAE-bound flight from Sialkot was diverted to Lahore, while Abu Dhabi–Peshawar flight PK 218 was redirected to Multan. The Islamabad–Karachi flight PA 201 was also canceled due to poor conditions.
Several domestic services faced cancellations, including four Islamabad–Gilgit flights (PK 601–604), two Karachi–Skardu flights (PA 704, 705), and Lahore–Skardu flights (PA 480, 481).
Widespread delays were reported at major airports:
- Islamabad: 18 flights delayed by 1–6 hours
- Lahore: 15 flights delayed by 1–7 hours
- Karachi: 10 flights delayed by 1–5.5 hours; Karachi–Islamabad routes delayed 1–6 hours; Karachi–Lahore routes delayed 1–2.5 hours
Passengers have been advised to stay in contact with airlines before traveling, as disruptions are expected to continue until weather conditions improve
