Shooting Outside Nevada Casino Leaves 3 Dead And 2 In Critical Condition

A deadly shooting occurred outside a casino in Reno, Nevada, early Monday morning. Three people were killed and two others were critically injured. The gunman, who was also wounded, is in critical condition.

The incident took place at the valet station of the Grand Sierra Resort, a major casino and hotel complex in Nevada‘s third-largest city. The shooting started just before 7:30 a.m. local time.

According to authorities, the suspect is an adult male. His identity has not yet been released. Police believe the victims were shot at random. There appears to be no connection between the suspect and those who were targeted.

The gunman shot five people near the valet area. As he tried to flee, he exchanged gunfire with a casino security guard. Moments later, he shot a sixth person who was driving through the lot.

Police arrived quickly and confronted the suspect. A gunfight followed, and officers shot the gunman, ending the attack.

Two victims near the valet and the passing driver died at the scene. Two others remain in critical condition at a local hospital. The suspect is also being treated and is listed as critical.

One Reno police officer suffered a minor injury from flying glass.

This violent event has shaken the Nevada community. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact local police. The investigation is ongoing.
