Former cricket star Shoaib Malik has advised Pakistani youth to focus on self-growth rather than hurrying into marriage after turning 25.
Speaking on the show Hasna Mana Hai, Malik reflected on his career and personal journey. He recalled starting cricket at 14, when Imran Khan noticed his talent, and later receiving guidance from Javed Miandad, who encouraged him to develop his batting alongside bowling.
On marriage, Shoaib Malik noted that tying the knot before 25 aligns with Islamic teachings that promote early marriage, but cautioned that after 25, men should prioritize self-development. He added that if marriage is delayed, waiting until 30 or beyond is a wiser choice.
Shoaib Malik’s own life has often drawn public attention. He shares a son, Izhaan, with his first wife, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. Following their separation, he married actress Sana Javed in 2024
