Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail Sworn In As Balochistan Governor

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]PML-N leader Sheikh Jaffer Mandokhail assumed office as the 24th governor of Balochistan on Monday.

Administered by Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Hashim Kakar, the oath-taking ceremony took place at the Governor’s House. Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bhugti, cabinet members, and provincial assembly members were also present.

Mandokhail has previously served in various important roles within provincial governments, including Finance Minister, Minister for Planning and Development, Minister for Education, and Minister for Revenue.

President Asif Ali Zardari approved Mandokhail’s appointment as governor of the sparsely populated region over the weekend.

Mandokhail succeeds BNP-M leader Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, who assumed office in mid-2022.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
