Shehbaz Sharif’s UAE Visit Aims To Boost Economic Partnership

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif undertook a one-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates on Thursday at the invitation of UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The visit reflects ongoing efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic ties between Pakistan and the Gulf nation.

Accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, the prime minister is scheduled to meet with top UAE leadership to discuss strategic matters.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit will focus on enhancing cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, and energy. Both sides are also expected to exchange views on regional developments and shared geopolitical interests.

Officials believe the visit could pave the way for increased economic collaboration and new avenues of partnership. It marks another step in Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach to secure stronger economic alliances in the Gulf region.
