Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in UAE for Trade Discussions

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday for a brief visit to the United Arab Emirates to boost bilateral relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation.

The visit, held at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saw PM Shehbaz welcomed at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s National Security Advisor and brother of the President.

Senior Emirati officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, were also present at the reception. The prime minister was then escorted to the Presidential Palace for key meetings with the UAE president. Talks are expected to focus on strengthening trade, investment, and regional security cooperation.

PM Shehbaz is accompanied by Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
