Law enforcement continues to clamp down on PTI, TLP, and other party activists protesting alleged election manipulation in the general elections held on February 8.
Shahzad, who had taken the matter to the Lahore High Court, accusing Maryam Nawaz, Sharif’s daughter, of manipulating Form 47, was apprehended in Lahore. PTI confirmed Farooq’s arrest in a social media post, stating that he was detained while peacefully exercising his right to protest against the apparent rigging.
