Shahab Ali Shah Appointed as the New Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The federal government has appointed Shahab Ali Shah as the new Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval to replace the incumbent.

As per the official notification, Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry has been transferred to Balochistan, while Shahab Ali Shah, a Grade-21 officer, will assume the role in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Furthermore, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry has been reassigned as Secretary of the Board of Investment (BOI), replacing Rahim Hayat Qureshi, who has been designated as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

These transfers and appointments reflect a significant administrative reshuffle at the federal level.
