[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Officers at the Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) office have had their monthly fuel expenses increased by Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 68,000.
According to official sources, additional IG rank officers’ monthly gasoline allowance would be increased from 350 to 500 litres, while DIG rank officers’ allocation will be increased from 200 to 400 litres.
Furthermore, assistant IG rank officers would have their monthly fuel allotment increase from 175 to 300 litres, while assistant directors will see their allocation grow from 125 to 200 litres.

According to officials, the former Punjab IGP established a fuel-saving policy, which resulted in a drop in petrol restrictions.
Given that senior officials frequently own two or more automobiles; a proposal was made during an executive board meeting to increase monthly petrol expenses.
