In a significant development, security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province conducted two separate operations resulting in the neutralization of nine terrorists. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in Tira, Khyber District, where seven terrorists, including high-value targets Terrorist Commander Najeeb Abdul Rehman and Terrorist Commander Ishfaq Muavia, were eliminated in an intelligence-based operation. These individuals were actively involved in various terrorist activities and were sought by law enforcement agencies. The operation also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists.

In another operation conducted in Lakki Marwat District, security forces engaged a terrorist location, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists. The area is currently undergoing sanitization operations to ensure that any remaining threats are neutralized. These operations underscore the steadfast commitment of Pakistan’s Security Forces to eliminate the menace of terrorism and ensure peace and security in the region.
