The security setup includes 27 teams of the Elite Force, 60 Dolphin Squad units, and 52 teams of the Police Response Unit to handle patrolling during matches. With a large number of foreign players participating, security measures aim to provide a safe environment for the cricket event set to commence on February 17.
The unveiling of the PSL 9 trophy, named “The Orion Trophy,” took place at Lahore’s Polo Ground in the Race Course Park. The event saw the presence of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, franchise owners, and prominent cricketers. The trophy symbolizes the tournament’s spirit, reflecting the collective pursuit of glory by each participating team.

Scheduled to kick off on February 17, PSL 9 will commence at the PCB’s headquarters in Lahore, featuring an opening match between two-time champions Lahore Qalandars and past winners Islamabad United.
