Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Sean Dyche as their new manager after the sacking of Ange Postecoglou, who lasted just over a month in charge. The club made the announcement on Tuesday, confirming that Dyche has signed a deal until 2027.

Postecoglou’s departure followed a poor start to the Premier League season, with Forest sitting in the relegation zone after collecting only five points from eight matches.

The team’s recent 3–0 defeat to Chelsea proved to be the final straw for the club’s management.

Dyche, 54, is best known for his time at Burnley and Everton, where he earned a reputation for building strong, defensively organized teams. His arrival marks a return to Nottingham Forest, where he spent part of his youth career as a player.

Forest officials said Dyche’s experience and leadership were key factors behind the decision, expressing hope that he can stabilize the team and guide them to safety.

His first challenge will be a Europa League clash against Porto, followed by a crucial Premier League game against Bournemouth.
