Saudi Health Commission Recognizes Pakistan’s Clinical Specialist Degrees

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in Riyadh, KSA, has included clinical specialist degrees awarded by Pakistani medical universities in the Senior Registrar Category of their Professional Qualifications Requirements list, alongside FCPS degrees from Pakistan. This decision allows specialists and consultant doctors from Pakistan to serve in top tiers of medical professionals in Saudi Arabia.

This development came to light through an email sent by the Saudi Health Commission to the General Secretary of the Association of University Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. The association, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and the Pakistani embassy in Riyadh, had been advocating for this recognition.
