In light of the anticipated severe weather during the Hajj season, only those who are healthy and physically fit will be permitted to undertake Hajj. The advisory specifies that individuals suffering from serious health issues, such as kidney, heart, lung, or liver conditions, cancer, dementia, or infectious diseases like tuberculosis (TB) and whooping cough, will be barred from participating.
Additionally, children under 12 and pregnant women will not be allowed to perform Hajj. All pilgrims are required to be vaccinated against meningitis, COVID-19, seasonal influenza, and polio before embarking on the pilgrimage.
