Saudi Arabia has confirmed that the issuance of visas for Hajj 2026 will commence on February 8, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced. This year, the visa process is being launched earlier than usual to ensure that all Hajj arrangements are completed in a timely manner and to provide enhanced facilities for pilgrims.
The ministry stated that all service contracts for international pilgrims have been fully finalized, and accommodation arrangements in Makkah have been completed through the Nusuk platform. This ensures that pilgrims will have access to organized lodging and essential services upon arrival. So far, around 750,000 pilgrims have registered for Hajj 2026, while an additional 30,000 have booked their Hajj packages directly from their home countries.
The early start of visa issuance is part of Saudi Arabia’s proactive planning to streamline Hajj operations and improve the overall quality of services for millions of pilgrims arriving from across the globe. Officials emphasized that this initiative reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to making Hajj a smooth and safe experience for all participants.
In addition, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan recently signed a formal agreement in Jeddah to provide Pakistani pilgrims with high-quality facilities for Hajj 2026. The ceremony was attended by Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman, Pakistan’s Secretary for Religious Affairs Atta-ur-Rehman, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and other senior officials.
During the ceremony, Atta-ur-Rehman expressed gratitude to Saudi authorities for agreeing to enhance the services and facilities available to Pakistani pilgrims, ensuring a comfortable and well-organized Hajj experience.
With early visa issuance and finalized arrangements, Hajj 2026 is set to be a well-prepared and efficiently managed pilgrimage, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to accommodate the needs of millions of worshippers worldwide.
