Saudi Arabia has confirmed that its key energy infrastructure, including the east-west oil pipeline, has been fully restored after recent attacks. Officials said the recovery marks a significant step toward stabilizing oil supply in the region.
According to the energy ministry, Saudi Arabia has successfully brought its facilities back to operational capacity. The east-west pipeline, which is a major route for oil transport, is now functioning at full strength. Authorities stated that the restoration improves the reliability of energy supplies.
The pipeline has the capacity to transport around seven million barrels of oil per day. Earlier attacks had reduced this capacity by nearly 700,000 barrels daily. Officials said technical teams worked continuously to restore operations in a short period.
The attacks were linked to rising tensions involving Iran and the United States. Before a fragile two-week truce began, Iran targeted energy facilities across the Gulf region. Tehran accused neighboring states of supporting US military actions, a claim denied by Gulf countries.
In Saudi Arabia, several important locations were affected during the attacks. These included facilities in Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and the industrial city of Yanbu. Oil fields such as Manifa and Khurais also faced disruptions, though production is now being restored.
Officials confirmed that the attacks caused damage to key infrastructure, including a pumping station along the pipeline network. The incident also led to a temporary drop in oil output. Despite these challenges, Saudi Arabia managed to restore operations through rapid response and technical expertise.
The east-west pipeline, also known as Petroline, played a critical role during the crisis. It allowed oil transport to continue despite disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. This route connects oil fields in the Gulf to ports on the Red Sea.
Authorities reported that the conflict resulted in casualties as well. At least three people were killed in Saudi Arabia during the period of attacks. Officials have expressed concern over the impact of such incidents on regional stability.
Energy experts say the restoration of facilities is important for global markets. Stable oil supply helps prevent sudden price increases. The quick recovery by Saudi Arabia has reassured international stakeholders.

Overall, the successful restoration highlights the country’s ability to respond to crises. It also reflects efforts to maintain energy security during times of geopolitical tension.
