She also extended a heartfelt message to her Indian fans, referring to them as “long-lost siblings” due to their shared cultural heritage. “We’ve grown up in different homes but share the same roots,” she said, highlighting the deep cultural connections between the two countries.

Barzakh, directed by Asim Abbasi, has sparked debate due to its bold themes, including non-heteronormative storylines. The show’s portrayal of such topics has led to its removal from YouTube Pakistan, effective August 9, following a backlash from some viewers who found its content controversial.
Fans in Pakistan have until August 9 to view the final episode, which airs on August 6. Abbasi has defended his work, emphasizing his commitment to storytelling that champions diverse perspectives.
Despite the negative reactions from some quarters, Saeed remains positive about the project’s reception and the support from audiences who appreciate its narrative.
