Samsung Teases Galaxy A56 & A36 with Sleek New Design!

Samsung is set to unveil two new mid-range smartphones in India—the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36—as part of its upcoming Galaxy A-series that promises enhanced performance, longer software support, and a refreshed design. A recently released teaser video has generated excitement by hinting at improved cameras, a modern aesthetic, and AI-driven features.

Although the teaser primarily showcased existing Galaxy A models, the final moments offered glimpses of the new devices. Notably, Samsung confirmed that both the Galaxy A56 and A36 will come with six years of OS and security updates, an upgrade over last year’s A35 and A55, which offered only four years of support. The new devices will also run on the latest One UI 7 based on Android 15.

In terms of design, Samsung appears to be reworking the camera setup on these models. Unlike the Galaxy A55, where the camera rings were separate, the Galaxy A56 and A36 are expected to feature a dedicated camera island with an adjacent LED flash. The Galaxy A56 might even sport slightly thicker camera rings, echoing the design elements seen in Samsung’s Fold series.

Performance leaks suggest that the Galaxy A56 will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 processor, while the Galaxy A36 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Both models are expected to have 6.6-inch OLED displays for vibrant visuals and smooth operation, along with 5,000 mAh batteries supporting 45W fast charging for prolonged battery life and quick recharges.

While the teaser did not specify an exact launch date, the new Galaxy A-series smartphones are anticipated to debut in March, with open sales likely to follow soon after. Additionally, Samsung may introduce the Galaxy A26, though its release remains uncertain.
