Samsung has confirmed that it will unveil its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, on February 25, 2026, ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The devices are expected to be released globally, with pre-orders starting soon after the launch and retail availability scheduled for early March. Fans in Pakistan are also expected to get access to the new lineup alongside the global launch.
While official pricing for Pakistan has not been announced, industry sources and market trends suggest estimated ranges for the Galaxy S26 series. The standard Galaxy S26 could cost between Rs 220,000 and Rs 262,000, the S26+ may range from Rs 280,000 to Rs 335,000, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be priced between Rs 350,999 and Rs 509,999. In the United States, early leaks indicate starting prices around $799 for the S26, $999 for the S26+, and $1,299 for the S26 Ultra. These prices reflect base storage configurations and may vary with higher memory options or local taxes.
In terms of specifications, the base Galaxy S26 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,300 mAh battery. The S26+ will likely include a larger battery of around 4,900 mAh, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to offer a 6.9-inch high-brightness display and a 5,000 mAh battery. All devices are anticipated to run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.
Performance-wise, leaks suggest Samsung may use the Exynos 2600 chipset for the S26 and S26+ in many regions, while the Ultra variant could feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The higher-end models are expected to offer advanced camera systems with enhanced sensors and zoom capabilities, though full specifications are yet to be officially confirmed.
