Speaking to reporters in Colombo, Salman Ali Agha says the focus remains on preparing well and performing strongly against other teams in the tournament. “The issue of the match with India is not in our hands. We respect whatever the government decides,” he added.
Excited for World Cup Debut as Captain
Salman Ali Agha says he is excited to lead Pakistan in his first World Cup campaign. He mentioned that the team is training hard and preparing for the match against the Netherlands. “We hope to see good results and perform to our potential,” he said.

He also expressed disappointment that Bangladesh will not participate in the World Cup, calling it a pity for the tournament.
