Famous singer Salman Ahmed charged under PECA Act for social media violations.
A case has been filed against Salman Ahmed for allegedly spreading anti-national security and state propaganda online. According to the police, the complaint was lodged at the Defence A police station in Lahore.

The FIR mentions that Ahmed, with 265,400 followers on X (formerly Twitter), posted harmful content targeting national institutions. The FIR also states that a police officer personally observed a hateful message he shared on social media.
