Sajid Khan Set to Return to Pakistan's Test Squad for West Indies Series

Spinner Sajid Khan is all set to make his return to Pakistan’s Test squad for the upcoming series against the West Indies. Sources have confirmed that the bowler, who was previously excluded from the squad for the South Africa tour, will be a key part of the team for the upcoming home series.

Sajid’s absence during the South Africa series was largely due to the challenging conditions that were not conducive to spin bowling. However, with the West Indies series approaching, he is expected to replace one of the fast bowlers in the squad.

In preparation for the series, pitches are being specially prepared to suit spin bowlers, much like those used during Pakistan’s recent tour of England. The aim is to create favorable conditions for spin to thrive.

With the West Indies team scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on January 6, the two Test matches will be held in Multan. The first Test will kick off on January 17, followed by the second Test on January 25.
