According to NRI businessman Iqbal Mir Sharma, when he complained about the actor’s group’s racket, Saif and two male buddies not only intimidated him, but the Omkara star actually punched and cracked his nose. Sharma also says that two of Saif’s pals assaulted his father-in-law Raman Patel.
However, Saif has rejected the businessman’s claims, claiming that Sharma made insulting statements and used profanity against his female friends, causing the uproar.
The police submitted the charge-sheet on December 21, 2012, and the trial for the assault case will begin on June 15th, which is the next day of hearing.
