Sahibzada Farhan Becomes First Pakistani to Smash 100 T20 Sixes in a Single Year

Pakistan’s opener Sahibzada Farhan has achieved a major milestone by becoming the first Pakistani player to hit 100 T20 sixes in a single year.

The 29-year-old reached this landmark during the third match of the tri-nation T20 series, where Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets. Chasing 129, Pakistan wrapped up the win in 15.3 overs, marking their second straight victory of the tournament.

Farhan was instrumental in the triumph, blasting 80 runs off 45 deliveries with 6 fours and 5 sixes — the knock that pushed him past the 100-sixes mark for the T20 calendar year.

Overall, he has smashed 45 sixes in 32 international T20s for Pakistan and 194 sixes in 141 T20 matches across all levels.

Known for his fearless and aggressive approach, Farhan has redefined the role of an opening batter for the Men in Green. He made his PSL debut in 2018 with Islamabad United and quickly became known for clearing boundaries effortlessly while staying calm under pressure.

He was also a standout performer in the 2017 Pakistan Cup, scoring four half-centuries and a brilliant century
