NEW YORK – The US has revoked visas for over 300 foreign nationals, including Turkish doctoral student Rumeysa Ozturk, due to their involvement in pro-Palestine campus protests.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed a crackdown on foreign students participating in pro-Palestine activism at American universities.

A day earlier, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Ozturk, a Tufts University student, after she co-authored an article advocating for Palestine.
Rubio stated, “We revoked her visa. If you come here and create a ruckus, we don’t want it. Go back and do it in your own country.”
He added that the visa cancellations apply to various types, targeting individuals whose activities oppose US foreign policy or national interests.
