RSF Massacres Over 1,500 in Sudan’s El-Fasher

Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have reportedly killed more than 1,500 civilians in the city of El-Fasher, marking one of the deadliest incidents since the civil war began. Witnesses described widespread atrocities and mass graves discovered across the region.

According to local sources, the RSF launched a large-scale assault targeting residential areas, hospitals, and shelters housing displaced families. The attacks forced thousands to flee as entire neighborhoods were reduced to ashes.

Human rights groups condemned the massacre, calling it a deliberate act of ethnic violence against communities seen as loyal to Sudan’s national army. Many victims included women, children, and elderly people who were unable to escape.

International aid agencies have struggled to reach El-Fasher due to ongoing fighting and blocked supply routes. The United Nations warned that the situation risks turning into a full-scale humanitarian disaster if violence continues unchecked.

The Sudanese army accused the RSF of committing war crimes and vowed to hold those responsible accountable. However, ceasefire efforts have repeatedly failed, with both sides accusing each other of violating peace agreements.

Analysts say the massacre could deepen Sudan’s already fragile conflict and push the country closer to total collapse. Global leaders have urged immediate intervention to stop further civilian killings and restore humanitarian access.
