Officials have introduced a revised visitation plan for Riyadhul Jannah during the holy month of Ramadan to better manage the heavy influx of worshippers. The updated schedule separates visiting hours for men and women, ensuring smoother crowd control and improved organization during one of the busiest periods of the Islamic calendar.
For the first and second Ashras of Ramadan, male pilgrims will be permitted to access Riyadhul Jannah in two time windows daily. The first slot runs from 11:20 AM until 8:00 PM, while the second is scheduled between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM. These extended hours are intended to accommodate the growing number of visitors seeking to offer prayers in the revered area.
Female worshippers, during the initial twenty days of Ramadan, will have two allocated visiting periods. The first is from 11:00 PM to 1:40 AM, and the second from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Authorities say this arrangement is designed to facilitate a comfortable and organized experience for women pilgrims.
In the final ten days of Ramadan, when attendance typically peaks due to increased spiritual devotion, the schedule for men will expand to three time slots. They will be allowed entry from 11:20 AM to 8:00 PM, 11:00 PM to midnight, and again from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Meanwhile, women will have a single designated slot during this period, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Officials confirmed that Ramadan 1447 AH began on February 18, 2026, following the sighting of the crescent moon in Saudi Arabia on February 17. The revised Riyadhul Jannah schedule is aimed at ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience for all visitors throughout the sacred month.
