Riyadh Metro, the highly anticipated rapid transit system in Saudi Arabia’s capital, has officially launched with six metro lines spanning 176 km. The integrated network, connected to the Riyadh Bus Project, promises seamless city-wide travel, transforming public transportation in the region.
Authorities have unveiled ticket pricing for the metro, offering competitive rates for tourists and daily commuters. Fares are divided into two categories: First Class and Standard Class. First Class prices range from SR10 for a two-hour pass to SR350 for a thirty-day pass. Standard Class prices are more economical, starting at SR4 for a two-hour pass and going up to SR140 for a thirty-day pass.

Inaugurated by King Salman on November 27, 2024, the metro aims to enhance mobility in Riyadh, a financial and cultural hub home to iconic landmarks and cultural centers.
