Design and Display
The Realme P3 Pro boasts a 6.83-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, it delivers clear visibility even in bright conditions. Its quad-curved edges enhance the sleek profile, though durability could be a concern. The device features an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
The Realme P3x, on the other hand, features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with the same FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, but a lower peak brightness of 950 nits. Unlike the P3 Pro, the P3x has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.
Both phones offer IP68/IP69-rated protection, meaning they can withstand dust and high-pressure water jets but are not fully waterproof.
Color Options
- Realme P3 Pro: Nebula Glow, Galaxy Purple, Saturn Brown
- Realme P3x: Lunar Silver, Midnight Blue, Stellar Pink
Performance and Software
The Realme P3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It features an octa-core CPU (4x Cortex-A78 @ 2.4GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 @ 1.95GHz) paired with an Adreno 710 GPU for enhanced graphics performance. It comes with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage (no microSD slot).
The Realme P3x debuts the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU (2x Cortex-A76 + 6x Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is available in 6GB or 8GB RAM variants with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is slower than the P3 Pro’s UFS 3.1.
Both devices run on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, offering system optimizations and new customization options. However, Realme’s long-term software update policy remains uncertain.
Camera Setup
The Realme P3 Pro sports a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP depth sensor. The 16MP front camera is housed in a hole-punch cutout.
The Realme P3x also features a 50MP main camera, but with an OmniVision OV50D sensor, which lacks OIS. It also has a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is identical to the P3 Pro (16MP).
Both models support 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps, but lack 4K 60fps recording, a feature typically found in high-end devices.
Battery and Charging
A standout feature of the Realme P3 series is the massive 6,000mAh battery.
- Realme P3 Pro: 80W wired charging (50% charge in 24 minutes) with bypass charging support to reduce overheating.
- Realme P3x: 45W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme P3 Pro starts at INR 23,999 ($276) for the 8/128GB variant, while the 12/256GB model costs INR 26,999 ($310).
The Realme P3x is priced at INR 13,999 ($161) for the 6/128GB model and INR 14,999 ($172) for the 8GB variant.
