Former chairman PCB praised the right-handed batsman for his undefeated 43 off 14 balls inning during his post-match analysis on a local talk show.
“Unfortunately, Umar Akmal’s life is a literal definition of great talent but wasted talent. Yet, there is a lesson for all players: “If you are not disciplined and cannot keep your mouth shut while playing, there is a greater likelihood that you will be on the receiving end of injustice- quite an awful circumstance,” he stated.
