It’s been reported that Aman Preet Singh, brother of Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, was arrested in Hyderabad in connection with a drug case. Alongside four foreigners, he was detained for alleged drug use. The arrests were part of a larger operation following a tip-off about a significant quantity of cocaine intended for sale in Hyderabad.

During the raid, over 30 individuals, including Aman Preet Singh, were identified as drug users. Police seized 200 grams of cocaine valued at 20 million Indian rupees. The suspects are set to undergo medical examinations before being presented in court.
Rakul Preet Singh herself has been previously questioned in 2021, 2022, and 2023 regarding drug trafficking and usage. This development comes amidst ongoing investigations by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) into alleged drug use within Bollywood. The NCB has been actively probing various personalities associated with the film industry, including actors, producers, talent managers, and others, to uncover potential links between Bollywood and the narcotics trade.
