A session court in Lahore has set April 22 to indict YouTuber Rajab Butt and his associates in an alleged gang rape case. The decision was announced during recent court proceedings led by Additional Sessions Judge Yasir Arfat.
During the hearing, the court distributed copies of the challan to all accused. These include Rajab Butt and his co-accused Jahangir, Jawad Ali, and Abdur Rehman. The judge directed all individuals to appear for charge-framing on the scheduled date.
The case has drawn attention due to serious allegations. According to the complainant, she was invited to a residence by the accused. She claimed that she was later subjected to sexual assault. The case was registered by Nawab Town police based on her statement.
On the other hand, the defense has raised objections. A petitioner argued that the case was registered on incorrect facts. The legal team has requested the court to confirm interim bail for the accused. The matter is currently under judicial review.

She also raised concerns about privacy. Eman Fatima said that involving a minor child without consent was irresponsible. She described the situation as distressing and inappropriate.
