Raja Nadir passes away: Former minister’s death mourned nationwide

FAISALABAD – Raja Nadir Pervaiz, former federal minister for communications and water and power, passed away on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV. His death has been mourned nationwide. 

Raja Nadir served as a member of the National Assembly five times. He held multiple key portfolios as a federal minister during his political career. 

Before entering politics, Raja Nadir served in the Pakistan Armed Forces. He was decorated with the prestigious Sitara-e-Jurrat for his military service. 

He was associated with major political parties, including Islami Jamhoori Ittehad (IJI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). His political journey spanned several decades. 

The Namaz-i-Janaza of Raja Nadir will be offered at the Rawalpindi Army graveyard. Officials and political leaders have expressed grief over his passing. Tributes continue to pour in from across the country.
