The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rain for Lahore and its surrounding regions on Friday, while Islamabad is expected to witness rainfall with hail , offering a refreshing break from the recent dry spell.
According to the PMD, northwestern winds are likely to enter the country on Thursday, bringing cooler and breezier conditions, particularly to the upper and central regions.

In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, areas like district Khyber are already experiencing strong cool winds and scattered rain with hail, significantly improving the weather. Tourist destinations such as Galiyat and Thandiani near Abbottabad are also expecting rainfall under cloudy skies.
Meanwhile, Balochistan will mostly remain dry and hot, especially in the southern districts. However, rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds is predicted in parts of northern and central Balochistan including Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Kalat, Khuzdar, Quetta, Ziarat, and Chaman.
