Balochistan’s capital, Quetta, will experience a temporary gas outage after Sui Southern Gas Company announced a planned suspension in several major areas due to urgent maintenance work.
A company spokesperson said gas supply will be completely cut today from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in A-One City, BMC, and Quetta Avenue, affecting thousands of households and businesses.
Gas connections in Railway Housing, Faisal Town, Hazara Town, and along Brewery Road will also remain disrupted during the same timeframe, creating difficulties for routine domestic use and commercial operations.SSGC has appealed to consumers for cooperation during the repair work and assured that gas supply will be restored promptly once maintenance is completed.
Residents have been advised to make alternative arrangements and take necessary precautions during the suspension, as the company aims to improve safety and reliability of gas services.
