Quetta Gladiators Become First Team to Qualify for PSL 10 Playoffs After Thrilling Win Over Islamabad United
LAHORE – Quetta Gladiators have become the first team to secure a place in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 playoffs, following a dramatic 2-wicket victory over Islamabad United at Gaddafi Stadium.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Quetta restricted Islamabad to 157/8 in 20 overs. Mohammad Nawaz top-scored for United with 49 runs, while Saim Ayub added a useful 39. Faheem Ashraf starred with the ball for Quetta, taking 4 key wickets, playing a vital role in limiting the opposition.
In response, Quetta chased down the 158-run target with just one ball to spare, finishing at 159/8. Hasan Nawaz was the hero of the night, scoring a brilliant 64, while Rilee Rossouw (27) and Finn Allen (20) provided crucial support.
For Islamabad, Naseem Shah and Salman Irshad picked up two wickets each, but their efforts fell short as Quetta held their nerve in the final over.
This nail-biting finish earned Quetta Gladiators their place in the PSL 10 playoffs, becoming the first team to qualify this season.
