In a major step toward child safety, the Punjab Home Department has instructed the School Education Department to incorporate ‘Good Touch, Bad Touch’ awareness into school curriculam. This initiative aims to educate children on personal safety, enabling them to recognize inappropriate behavior and report it effectively.
The official directive highlights the necessity of including this awareness in early-grade syllabi, emphasizing the urgent need to equip children with knowledge for self-protection. This move aligns with increasing concerns over child sexual abuse and the importance of teaching children how to safeguard themselves.
