Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that private schools across the province can hold summer camps from June 15 to July 15, 2025, under certain guidelines.

Importantly, schools are prohibited from charging any fees for these summer sessions.

The initiative is designed to offer students academic help, co-curricular activities, and skill-building opportunities during the summer break without adding financial burden on families.

This announcement comes in line with Punjab’s official summer vacation schedule, with schools closed from June 1 to August 14, 2025, and regular classes resuming on August 15.

Strict directives have been issued to school administrations to follow these rules. Any institution found violating the no-fee policy or set timings will face disciplinary action.

The minister stressed that participation in the camps is voluntary and should prioritize students’ well-being.

District education officers have been tasked with ensuring compliance and handling any complaints swiftly.
