In Lahore, Punjab Police has unveiled employment opportunities for various positions, with the application process set to commence on February 3, 2024. For the role of Constable and Lady Constable, applicants from all districts of Punjab, except for Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur’s tribal area, must be within the age range of 18 to 22 years. It is mandatory for candidates to hold domicile of the relevant district. Additionally, they must possess a secondary school certificate.

In the running test, male candidates are required to cover a distance of 1.6 kilometers in seven minutes, while female candidates will have a 10-minute window for the same distance. The minimum height requirement stands at 5 feet 7 inches for males and 5 feet 2 inches for females. However, candidates hailing from the tribal districts of DG Khan and Rajanpur have an extended age limit of 18 to 25, with a 2-inch relaxation in minimum height applicable only to male candidates.

For the position of Driver Constables, the age limit is set between 21 to 30 years, with the same minimum height requirement as constables. Candidates must possess domicile and a national identity card. A secondary school certificate from approved boards is a prerequisite. Additionally, an LTV driving license with two years of experience is mandatory. The running test specifications remain the same as for constables.

As for Traffic Assistant roles, applicants must be within the age range of 18 to 22 years, meeting the same minimum height and running test requirements. An eye test is an additional component of the eligibility criteria.

To apply for Punjab Police Jobs 2024, candidates are instructed to download the application form from the official website of Punjab Police (www.punjabpolice.gov.pk). Once filled, the form, along with an attested photocopy of the identity card and educational certificates, must be submitted to the relevant district police lines between February 3 and 17. There is a Rs200 fee for the application form.
