The Punjab government has launched the T-Card, a unified cashless travel card for Metrobus and Orange Line services.
The Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) says the T-Card is part of the e-Transit program aimed at digitizing public transport and making travel more convenient. With this system, commuters can use a single card for both services, replacing the need for separate tokens or RFID cards, and helping cut down queues and wait times.
Passengers can apply for the T-Card via the e-Transit Punjab website, mobile app, or helpline 1762. The token system will be phased out gradually, with awareness campaigns to ensure a smooth shift
