The Punjab Masstransit Authority has officially announced the launch of a new Speedo Bus route in Lahore, further expanding the city’s urban transport network. According to an official notification, Route 27 of the Speedo Bus service will commence operations from February 14, 2026. This new 23-kilometer corridor will connect Jinnah Bus Terminal with Bahria Town, aiming to provide improved travel facilities for daily commuters.

The newly introduced Speedo Bus Route 27 will operate under Lahore’s Integrated Urban Public Transport system. The route has been carefully planned to link major residential neighborhoods, commercial hubs, and key transit points across the city. Starting from Jinnah Bus Terminal, the service will pass through Thokar Niaz Baig, Daewoo Terminal, Doctor Society, Eden Canal Villas, Basco Society, Muhafiz Town Market, Rajput Town, EME Society, Aabpara Market, Green Fort 2, Saleem Memorial Hospital, P&D Society, NESPAK Society, Izmir Town, Jubilee Town, Mian Chowk, Indus Hospital, Shahkam Chowk, Canal Garden, and Alwaiz Tower before reaching its final stop at Bahria Town.

Officials stated that the Speedo Bus expansion has been carried out under the provisions of the Punjab Masstransit Authority Act 2015. The objective is to enhance connectivity between important urban areas and reduce transportation challenges faced by residents.

With this addition, the Speedo Bus network continues to strengthen Lahore’s public transport infrastructure by offering affordable, reliable, and convenient commuting options. Authorities believe that Route 27 will significantly ease traffic congestion and provide better mobility for thousands of passengers traveling between central Lahore and Bahria Town on a daily basis.
