[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The interim government in Punjab has granted approval for an interest-free loan program targeting 11 incumbent judges serving in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
Under this scheme, the government will offer loans equivalent to three years’ worth of the judges’ basic salaries. The loan’s duration for high court judges can extend up to 12 years.

Reports indicate that the total amount of loans to be extended to these judges will surpass Rs360 million, considering that a judge’s basic salary exceeds Rs900,000.
The Lahore High Court, one of Pakistan’s constitutional courts, is overseen by a Chief Justice and comprises a panel of sixty Justices and additional judges. The retirement age for both the Chief Justice and Justices is set at 62 years.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
