[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Punjab Mass Transit Authority recently announced the imposition of media coverage fees at Metro Bus and Orange Line railway stations.
According to the recently announced standards, media organisations intending to cover these transit stations must pay a coverage charge, and their authorization to cover will be conditional on the payment.
To make the process easier, the authority has divided the stations along the Orange Line into three groups.

The coverage cost for Category A stations, which number eight in total, will be Rs. 246,000 per station.
Media organisations would be paid a coverage fee of Rs. 185,000 for each station in Category B, which comprises of ten stations.
Similarly, Category C, which includes eight stations, will be charged a coverage fee of Rs. 124,000.
Furthermore, it has been stated that a coverage fee of Rs. 124,000 will be charged to media organisations who wish to cover the Metro Bus service.
