Previously, teachers with associate degrees faced restrictions that prevented them from advancing beyond their initial recruitment grade, leading to many retiring at the same level they were hired. With the new policy, their cases will now be considered by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), allowing them to move up from PST to EST. This change aims to rectify the earlier limitations and provide a clear pathway for career advancement for associate degree holders within the education sector.
